Recently, the General Office of the Provincial People's Government issued the Notice on Publishing the List of the First Batch of Chemical Parks and Specialized Chemical Parks. The list of the first batch of Chemical Parks and Specialized Chemical Parks was determined and published. There are four parks in Jining Chemical Industrial Park, Wenshang Chemical Industrial Park, Jiaxiang Chemical Industrial Park and Zoucheng Chemical Industrial Park. On the list, the number of cities ranked second.
According to reports, last November, Shandong Province issued the "Measures for the Recognition and Management of Chemical Parks in Shandong Province". At the moment when the national standards for chemical parks have not yet been issued, Shandong standards are called "the most stringent in history" by the industry. After the promulgation of the standards, all chemical parks in our province, including those previously confirmed by the municipal government, are reviewed and re-identified in accordance with the new standards set by the province. In January this year, the evaluation intermediary structure was established, and the park declaration and on-site evaluation were started.
Among the identified parks, there are 11 petrochemical-dominated parks and 7 coal chemical-dominated parks, accounting for more than half of the total. The rest of the characteristic industrial parks are pharmaceutical and chemical parks, salt and chemical parks, etc. The second industry of these parks is new materials or fine chemicals, and industrial extension and integration have become a major trend.
According to the statistics of Shandong Province at the end of 2016, there were 199 chemical industrial parks and chemical agglomeration areas in Shandong Province. In accordance with the special action plan for the transformation and upgrading of the production safety of the chemical industry in the province, in addition to continuing to eliminate a number of backward and substandard enterprises, we also strive to reduce the number of chemical parks in the province to less than 100. For the remaining parks where to go, the relevant responsible person introduced that the declaration of comprehensive parks and professional parks in our province will continue, and the next batch will be announced in time. The identification of comprehensive parks will be completed by the end of September, and the identification of professional parks and key monitoring enterprises will be completed by the end of this year.
